Wanting an original copy of your Tuvaluan Birth Certificate? Our Mission can assist you in obtaining one from Tuvalu. All you need to do is:
- Submit a filled application form (download this form from the FORMS Tab)
- Make a payment of $15 NZD to our office account
- Send us your application form and the payment confirmation
We can send you a scanned copy of your Tuvaluan Birth Certificate, but you have to make your own arrangements to have your Original Birth Certificate copy brought over to New Zealand and the responsibility is yours. This means that you would need to send someone to pick your Birth Certificate, and arrange for it to be brought over to NZ. We can assist you in this, if we can and it may take time for it to arrive in NZ.
If we receive your Original Birth Certificate and you wish for us to post it over, this will incur a cost of $12, to be paid into our account for postage. Please remember to write the name of the person the document belongs to, as reference of payment.
Please note that failure to convey all the requirements will result in an incomplete application and cannot be dealt with further until all requirements are received.
